Edgar in Phase 1 of his back-to-school haircut:

Last week’s combed top is this weeks yarn:

and I acquired a practically-brand-new drum carder!

It is an older model Pat Green, the Blender. But it had hardly been used at all and absolutely beauteous.
I might be in love.

But you know what this means.

Clem has been made redundant.
I’m gonna have to let him go.

This sort of thing is never easy.

I’ll be getting him all spiffed up and ready to seek gainful employment elsewhere.
He’s got lots of experience and good references.
Know anyone who’s hiring?

    Oh, lucky you. It’s beautiful!!
How much is Clem asking for his new position?
    Edgar is looking quite spiffy.

Thanks Farmlady- Clem’s asking $180. I told him he could probably go higher, but he says he just wants to go somewhere that he’ll be appreciated and well used.

I can put Clem in the Spindrifter newsletter “For Sale” column if you want. Let me know. T.

I have been using my used electric carder quite a bit and am quite happy. I hope Clem finds a good home.

glad to hear the Duncan is working out for you. I’ve got a couple leads for Clem to follow up on. Sure he’ll be placed before long!
